This page will give you an idea of the outcome after the textures have been been used/edited to skin the object.

To get the best result texturing your object we recommend to save your copy of the "original" picture before altering it.

In various occasions you can extract several textures from the same picture.

Making Mega-Tex Studios Textures Tileable!

For this example we've used the following texture:

- Building Texture

Example We've taken a part of this texture as shown in the first image. Then we've pasted it 9 times as shown in second image. Pasted it 9 times

Next step is taking a part of the lines (Mind that you take a small piece, you can allways stretch it!!) showing on the building texture to create a grid. Because your making a tileable texture make sure that the top and bottom part of the line you've copied are simular (if necessery alter it by hand).
Apply the lines on the texture to create a grid. When done check the crossings of the grid and alter them by hand to make it fluently.

As you can see we've applied the grid. Becouse we want to create even more windows we made the top and side a bit bigger than the other two sides, this will help you during the pasting for creating an even bigger texture. Taking a copy of this texture and pasting it in a new image you can go on and on.....
